"Carmel A-Cappella" opening act in Israel
The Swingles are pleased to announce that our old friends from Haifa, Carmel A-Cappella, will be opening for us on our Israeli tour next week!
The ensemble has performed successfully in major music festivals in Israel. Their resume includes hundreds of performances in the most prominent venues in Israel (‘The Israeli Opera House‘, ‘Binyanei Hauma‘, ‘Tzavta‘ etc...) and collaborations with various artists and ensembles, including: ‘The Vocal Octet‘ , ‘The Kolan quartet‘, the singer Hanan Yovel and ‘The Haifa Symphony Orchestra'. They have received media exposure on radio and television programs and were featured in a special television program celebrating the Millennium year which
was broadcasted to 60 countries worldwide. In 2004, the ensemble was invited to a concert tour in Germany and was warmly received by the critics.
The group's repertoire includes fresh vocal arrangements of well-known classical instrumental pieces, Israeli songs, folk songs in various languages, songs from musicals, jazz and latin music.
The Swingle Singers and Carmel A-Cappella will be making stops in Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Check out our calendar for full concert details.
