Farewell...
After a decade (and a bit!) in the group, Tobi is moving on to the next stage in his life :
"After almost 11 wonderful years in the Swingle Singers, I have decided that it is time for the next step in my life. I moved to London in 2001 and never looked back; my time in the group has been exciting, exhilariting, always stimulating and inspiring. I am grateful for all the opportunities it has given to me, for all the incredible musical experiences, for the travelling & the tours, but also for all the encounters - musical and personal, i've had the privilege to make.
The current group is incredibly strong so while I am sorry to leave it behind I am also hugely excited about the next step, focussing on solo projects, teaching, studying,my family and much more..
Thanks to all the superb singers in the group I've been able to sing with, to our agents & office and of course to our incredible audiences and fans who have given me so much. All the best to the group in its undoubtedly exciting future endeavours!"
